Making Safer Communities, lassoing overlooked geniuses or athletes and pointing them in the right direction and offering the mentoring they need to make lasting changes from within.

The Center of Hope vision is an interfaith and interracial ministry of love to our brothers and sisters in the inner City; to create a safe place where people may become healed and whole again.

The driving purpose is to create a welcoming environment for the lonely, disenfranchised, unchallenged youth and families of our neglected neighborhoods.

We provide a positive environment of hope, training, and planning for the future - showing youth another alternative which will benefit them, the family, the community, and, yes, the nation!

Our vision of Hope:
· A Youth Center and basketball gym
· A Community-Gathering place for positive programs
· A Day Care Center for the very young through teens
· A Soup Kitchen for the hungry
· A Food Shelf and Thrift Store for the needy
· A drug/alcohol Rehabilitation Center
· A Library/Computer Center for homework
· An Evening Hope-Station for the homeless and desperate
· Singing and musical instrument classes
· Caring volunteers and staff for mentoring

How will we do this? We've been doing it since 1977! But we've run out of space and need your help to provide more for an increasing need.
