Church Beliefs "The Best Is Yet To Come"

THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the word of God. We believe in the full inspirations of the Word of God. We hold the Word of God to be the only authority in all matters and asserts that no doctrine can be true or essential, if it does not find a place in God's Word.

THE FATHER

We believe in God the Father Almighty, who is the author and creator of all things.

JESUS

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, the second person in the Trinity. We believe that Jesus was and is eternal. We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, and that he shed His blood to cleanse us from sin. We believe that Jesus is the only mediator between God and Man.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit (Ghost) is the third person of the Holy trinity, proceeds from the father and the son, is of the same substance. Equal in power and Glory, and is together with the Father and Son to be believed in,
obeyed, and worshiped. The Holy Spirit is a gift bestowed upon the believer for the purpose of empowering the believer to do the tasks that is set before him.

SIN/SALVATION
We believe that all have sinned and must confess with our mouth and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, and He forsaked our sins to be saved.

WATER BAPTISM
We believe that water baptism is necessary as instructed by Christ in St. John 3:5 Unless man be born again of water and spirit...Water baptism alone is not a means of savation, but an outward demonstration that one has had a conversion experience and has accepted Christ as their personal savior. We practice immersion because it corresponds closely to the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
